PHOTOSHOP SCREEN GRABS FOR FRONT COVER!

I opened the image I was going to use and situated
where I wanted it to be. I then added my masthead
"ELECTRIC" in Groudy Stout font. I chose the colour red
to connote my magazine genre.

I then right clicked on the layer I was using which then
led me to blending options. Using this would help
my masthead to stand out.

To create my positioning statement I used Century Gothic font.
Then I used Rockwell to create a coverline at the top of my
magazine.

To then make my font stand out, I used blending options.
I also chose a white colour to create a contrast in colours.

I used a shape tool on the left hand side of photoshop to create
a black circle shape.

After adding a small picture of a meatloaf CD cover,
I added positioning statement and situated it under
my masthead.

This is showing that I used Rockwell Bold for
"Joey Morton". I used white for this cover line
to make it contrast with my background.

This is showing my skills in making text stand out by using the
blending options.

For my cover line "A FACE OF A NEW ERA!" I used Rockwell font.

Again, using blending options I made the text
stand out more.

I then used Rockwell font to create all my cover lines. I positioned
them on my cover in ways which followed the codes and conventions
of music magazine covers.

Again I used blending options to make sure my text stood out.

For smaller cover lines underneath the main cover lines, I used the font Rockwell
and the color to contrast with my white cover lines.

Again I used blending options.
